Optical Property Measurement System for the LC Using Transmission& Reflection Method
This versatile, customized optical instrument enables one to measure the response time of PDLC(polymer dispersed liquid crystal) at a designated wavelength, transmission spectra and reflection spectra, while the electric field is being applied on the PDLC cell. Sample holder as well as the detector module can be rotated such that the angle of incidence can be adjusted from 0 to +-90 degrees. Contrast ratio is easily derived.
